Fun Run Extravaganza

Yay on the weekend i didn't have to work one minute so i've got to be proud bout that!!! Instead i spent time with my peeps, swimming, talking, eating and laughing...Oh how good!

On Friday night i could not get to sleep it was soooo annoying i was an insomniac one minute i would be extremely tired ready to drop dead on my bed the next i would have soo much energy and enthusiasm? i didn't know what to do with it. I ended up falling asleep around 2.45am and woke up at 7.00am to go to Emz house. It was a good sleep even if it was only for a few hours. I woke up had a shower i think that day is but a daze now caught the bus then the train fell asleep woke up right on time when we got to Nunga and then caught my dear old friend 743 to Emz. It was weird going on that bus i mean i use to see those same streets and suburbs everyday and then Sat it was as if i was seeing everything around me for the first time and i can tell you i was glad that i no longer live down there. Looking out the window really helped appreciate my mothers choice in moving houses all i saw when i was on there was a land that belongs to drongoz! I'm sorry guys but it's a really shitty neighbourhood and only then did i realise. But at the same time all these memories came rushing to my head but enough about that coz it's boring.

When i got to Emz we waited alittle then left to meet the girls at the Swimming cntr then had to wait alittle for Sam we put our stuff down got undressed and went swimming!! Wow i love the water i wish i had a pool at home, it was soo refreshing everything was good, friends, pool temperture and the sauna; yes the sauna was excellent! I stayed in there for such a long time but didn't reach my goal of 30mins each time i would go in there with people i would watch them all drop like flies as they left and i would be the last one standing...heheh it was good, it felt fabulous! Shantelle and I had heaps of fun pushin in to the Tarzan rope and Fun Run which i can proudly say i completed fully twice out of the three times which is quite an achievement.

When Emz and I got back to her house we ate her moms delicious home made from scratch! Macoronni with bacon and tomatoe..mmmmmmm it was oh soo good! I haven't had home made since year 8. Yum. While we were devouring our macoronni Emz and i had a good indepth convo about racism and our view on Lynx and Lamb. It was really good listening to Emz talk about how she felt about this issue made me think of how she should run for prime minister one day. She'd be good coz she's one determined chicky! We then watch Gilmore Girls yay Rory and the Madagascar Yay freaks! heheh My favourite is the squirl that is really a oh my gosh i forgot what it is?! meh

On Sunday Emz and i then met up with Marcus and we saw Memoirs of a Geisha, oh it was soo good. xpt for when the movie stopped and the lights came on after five minutes of starting. It was a good little glich thou we got to hear Irish guy tell us it was going to be 15mins till it came back on then he left. Oh Emz and i wanted him to stay and talk to us through the remaining time, his accent was oh so hypnotic and not a bad looker either. heheh

Well it was fun and i can't wait for this weeken when we go see that gay cowboy movie (BrokeBack Mountain). It should be interesting; in more ways than the obvious of course.
